Released on this day, 11 June 1993, Jurrasic Park. One of those rare occasions that the film is better than the book. Outside of the original, do you have a favourite JP movie? #horrorfilms #365daysofhorror

Released on this day, 10 June 2004, Haunte Tension premiers in Italy. Released as High Tension in the US and Switchblade Romance in the UK, it bought director Alexandre Aja to the attention of Hollywood. #horrorfilms #365daysofhorror

Released onbthisnday 8 June 1984, not 1 but 2 all time classics. Gremlins and Ghostbusters. I appeared to have missed the 8th and jumped straight to the 9th, ovey! So, what's your favourite of the 2? For me it'll always be Gremilns.

Released on this day. 9 June 1978, The Omen II. There are a couple of memorable scenes in this sequel but overall lacks the polish of the first. The kid who played Damien gave up acting and apparently became a lawyer...which seems apt #horrorfilms #365daysofhorror

Released on this day, 7 June 1970, Taste the Blood of Dracula. Back up to his old tricks in merry old England with a wanna be Helfire Club. Remember seeing this for the 1st time as a kid and witnessing the ever lovely Madeline Smith. #horrorfilms #365daysofhorror

Released this day, 6th June 2006, The Omen. Take a classic, remake it almost shot for shot but make it dull. Why? #horrorfilms #365daysofhorror

Released on this day, 5th June 1981, Final Exam. At the time this got better reviews than Halloween(!) We get a nameless killer, with no clear motive in what is a stripped down slasher that if you're a fan of the genre is worth checking out. #horrorfilms #365daysofhorror

Released this day, 4th June 1982, Poltergeist. Was it directed by Tobe Hooper or Stephen Spielberg? The arguments have raged for years. But what we do know is that this genre defining film changed the game because Spielberg managed to turn an R rating into a PG. #horrorfilms #365daysofhorror

Released on this day, 3rd June 1983, Psycho 3. After 23 yrs it would have been a risk to release a sequel to such an iconic movie, but this manages to pull it off. If you've not seen it, check it out. #horrorfilms #365daysofhorror

1/🧵 Abortion is still a crime in the UK. In 2025… Under a law from 1861, written before women could even vote. Women are being investigated, arrested and prosecuted for ending pregnancies. Far right Farage wants to drag us back even further. Here are the facts 👇🏼

Released on this day, 2 June 1970, Hatchet for the Honeymoon. Its been compared to America Psycho in its approach to story telling as riddled with trauma, John chops up young bride to be in this, at the time, underrated flick. #horrorfilms #365daysofhorror

Released on this day. 1 June 1990, Frankenhooker. This cult classic from the makers of Basketcase starred the very lovely Patty Mullen who only ever made one more movie, a shame as she showed some great comic timing. "Wanna date?" #horrorfilms #365daysofhorror youtu.be/bCibC3WP1Co?...

Print is used in many interesting, unusual ways, including by Leslie Nichols, an artist who creates her work on a manual typewriter, creating portraits of women using a variety of relevant appropriated texts relevant to the subject's life... #ReframingWomenPrintmakers

Just watched Camptain America: Brave New World. It really is a bland movie. The Winter Solider/Captain America show was far better. I'm not even sure what purpose this film serves. The villains are barely in it. The menace from the Red Hulk is all too brief. /1
