I missed this when it was first released last month, but the government have released their 10 year plan to fix the prisons systems, especially the places issue. It will include 15,000 additional places, 4 new prisons, expansions, refurbishments and investment.

Damn, I'm an amputee & cancer survivor, from age 17. I'm 56 now, I'm so glad to still be here but life sure can be hard. I'm reminded everyday about it when I wake up and strap on my prosthetic. Whenever I get ill with a cold etc, I get really bad phantom pains which are excruciating. Just venting
