Been recreating some of my favorite Famous Monsters of Filmland covers using oils on canvas. Just finished #114, 40x30 inches.

Almost finished with a new painting of a classic monster magazine cover. Famous Monsters #132, 40x30 inches, oil on canvas.

Rip Sadie. She had been having seizures since July. She had one Christmas morning and couldn't walk afterward. She had a tough few months. I made the tough decision. She was a great dog.

Watched an early Bob Ross episode the other day and was shocked when he painted tree limbs with some sort of paint gun, never saw that before.

Here's another of my paintings of an old barn here in Upstate NY.

Small painting I did of Claude Rains from "The Invisiblle Man".

Painting I did of Hermy and Charlie in the box

New painting finished. It's a local scene in my area that I've painted many times. #oilpainting

Question of the day: Why aren't delicious Nabisco Pinwheels EVER on sale?

What's a fair price to charge for an 11x14 inch painting? I'm displaying some of these next week and have no Idea what to charge.

Vintage 1960's magazines from my collection.

My painting of Christopher Reeve as Superman-24x48 inches.

Small painting I finished last night.

"Bride of Frankenstein" 40x30 oil on canvas. I did this 5 years ago and based the colors on Basill Gogos "Famous Monsters of Filmland" magazine cover.

My painting of Sam the Snowman. 24x24 oil on canvas. #oilpainting #rankinbass

Wanted to see how well I could reproduce a classic monster magazine cover on canvas. Took about 3 weeks, but came out well. 40x30 inches, oil on canvas. Pictured with the magazine for scale. #oilpainting #famousMonsters

Don't know why, but lately I've felt the inclination to do some small barn paintings.
