Tomorrow our Yosemite Conservancy volunteer crew will be replacing posts and railing around Grizzly Giant! 🤠 Here you can get an idea of the current state. Some vertical posts failed, railings down. Other rails just barely hanging on 😧 🏞 #Yosemite #NationalParks #ParkChat #Nature #ProtectOurParks

Have you ever felt a Giant Sequoia❓️ It isnt how you might expect. It's soft and spongy and has hairlike fibers under the outer layers. For such a massive thing it is surprising the exterior isnt hard. #Yosemite #NationalParks #Photography #Nature #Travel #ParkChat #ProtectOurParks

The GRIZZLY GIANT may *only* be the 26th LARGEST tree in the world, but in my opinion it has the 1st-BEST NAME of the named Giant Sequoia trees. A fitting name for a gnarly looking tree which is estimated to be 3,000 years old. #Yosemite #NationalParks #ParkChat #Nature #Travel #ProtectOurParks
