Lisa Barbier Cristiani (December 24, 1827 – October 24, 1853), also known as Lise Cristiani or Elise Cristiani, was a French cellist and performer recognized as one of the earliest recorded instances of a woman becoming a professional in the field.

Born in Naples in October 1685, Domenico Scarlatti was the son of Alessandro Scarlatti. Although Domenico Scarlatti wrote vocal works like his father, he is instead primarily known for his 555 keyboard sonatas. He is known primarily as a Baroque composer.
