I love my husband, but being his chauffeur is stressful as all get out. I look forward to when he has clearance to drive.

Age yourself with a cartoon you watched as a kid.

Clearly, this is an alien plant. But not an Audrey II. That blossom looks like an evil starfish.

"I'm a sucker for a pretty picture of a golden oyster mushroom," are words that 58-year-old Me never would have thought 60-year-old Me would say. [I joined Bluesky when I was 59.]

I did not plant any petunias this year. I didn't weed properly either. Thank you, rogue petunias and wood sorrel! My husband hates the faux clover, but I love that stuff.

#APoemADay I skipped yesterday. Sue me. I found the poem in the threaded comment in my journal from my college years. I see things about it that I like, and a lot that I don't like. I'll work on it tomorrow.

My last 'A Poem a Day' was on June 2nd. I am now going to repost 13 poems that you have already seen, and I'll start afresh tomorrow. We will start with the June 2nd poem, just to refresh your memory: 1/2

Sorry I've been absent so much lately: John's recovery is quickly moving away from the constant care, so you'll start seeing more of me tomorrow.

The Universe remains a vast and wondrous place:

Tomorrow, I'll figure out how many poems I missed, and I will try to share a poem an hour until I catch up to where I ought to be I assure you, these poems will mostly, maybe completely, be from past-Me. Good night, Bluesky. I'm proud of all of you who protested today. My heart was with you.
