We found the sweetest little botanical garden on our mom’s Day outing. I wonder what the future will hold for my adult daughters. They are amazing. They have little hope for a political reform. We are all just doing what we can to stand for democracy. I am a Hopeful pessimist.

Ways to remind myself that there is much good and beauty still. Spoke my piece today at a demonstration to a member of our local Democratic committee. Our representatives need to step up. We’re done with the reasons why they don’t. This isn’t your father’s politics. This is political war.

I almost gave up on these Easter cactus. It seemed they were not a good fit for my plant community. 😌 I wanted to start cuttings and while it was obvious they branch at the node, I did not know they would send out 2 to 4 stems and set a flower bud in every single one. Impeach and Remove.
