nah for real, Microsoft is cooking with Azure Container Apps!

Some of y'all need to calm down with the 'AI agents are the next big thing' narratives. We still haven't even gotten everyone off of Windows XP yet!

💯

Instead of wasting time on AI agent nonsense that will never take off, focus on innovating and developing products for the physical world. The LA fires proved that all this AI hype is useless when it comes to real-world challenges

Extreme fire danger will continue thru Wed. PDS Red Flag Warnings are for the extreme of the extreme fire weather scenarios. In other words, this setup is about as bad as it gets. Stay aware of your surroundings. Be prepared to evacuate. Avoid anything that can spark a fire.#cawx

These guys are promising AGI but can’t figure out Kubernetes??? status.openai.com/incidents/ct...

“Taylor Sheridan, also known as the hardest working man in crime-based media, just launched a new show last week, Landman, starring Billy Bob Thornton and Ali Larter” Bro never misses!

I’m reflecting on Drake’s situation through the lense of a Cloud Solution’s Architect and remembering Werner Vogels' famous quote: 'Everything fails all the time.' Drake’s team overlooked High Availability, Resilience, & Fault Tolerance. No DR Plan, or if there is one, it lacks clear RTO/RPO.

Festive feels…

There are days when I need a caffeine boost, but it's already latebthat I worry it might keep me up all night. Still, I say, "screw it," and go for an espresso anyway. Then, bedtime comes, I somehow still manage to fall asleep. I think my body just understands and gives me a pass on days like these.

Cloud providers be like, 'Here’s our shiny new add-on that's GA!' Then you dive into the docs and it's just a laundry list of limitations. It’s like those drug ads on Tv where the side effects list is longer than the benefits.

The "…In Action" series by Manning Publications is hands down one of the best technical book series out there. Never regretted a single purchase!

Kubernetes runs on Linux primarily. Having a solid understanding of Linux will make your life working with Kubernetes much more fun. Trust me !

All my favorite movers and shakers in the cloud-native and broader tech ecosystem are active on Bluesky, and it honestly brings me so much joy! LFG!

Neat stuff on Istio! istio-insider.mygraphql.com/index.html

I frequently work with Snowflake in my role and recently shared some insights on setting up data ingestion pipelines on Kubernetes, incorporating event-driven capabilities. Feel free to check it out through the link below. If you find it useful please share musana.engineering/event-driven...

Back to the beautiful Los Angeles! My favorite place in the whole world #ToLiveAndDieInLAIt’sThePlaceToBe,YouveGotToBeHereToKnowIt

People who don’t follow back those who took the time to find and follow you—just know it makes you seem less considerate and approachable. That one person you ignored might be the connection you need when you're suddenly laid off and need to get back on your feet. Let’s do better

Stunning views of Salt Lake City from the State Capitol. #KubeCon2024. I’ll definitely be back for leisure!

#KubeCon2024 is officially in the books! The keynotes and sessions were top-notch, and it was a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends, exchange ideas, and gain insights from the community. And I have to say—Salt Lake City is stunning!

Excited to be at KubeCon in Salt Lake City, exploring the latest in Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, and platform engineering. Focused on building reliable infrastructure for SaaS platforms #KubeCon #CloudNative #PlatformEngineering #SaaS #Kubernetes #TechCommunity
