So I've been dealing with an antibiotic resistant sinus and ear infection for the better part of 4 weeks at this point. My left ear has been partially blocked this whole time and the increasing pressure in my skull makes me wonder how much more a brain can handle before it goes squish.

Okay this is something I've been wondering for years. Do children experience pain physically differently than adults, or we just get accustomed to pain as we grow up? When kids get soap in their eyes it burns like fire and they scream and cry. When I do, it burns, but it's a mild annoyance.

So this is completely anecdotal, and I suppose at some point in my life I had been given steroids before this.... However, the 6-day steroid course I was put on for a pinched nerve has helped me exponentially with my ADHD symptoms. It is a marked improvement in my ADHD symptoms.
