Israel just killed hundreds of Palestinians, including kids. The US just killed dozens of Yemenis, including kids. "Why do they hate us?" asks the American public, blissfully ignorant of what's being done in its name in the Middle East by the US and its ally Israel. Sigh.

Why are politicians talking about the destruction of Gaza as if it’s some random disaster? They know the truth: they spent 15 months rejecting our calls to stop arming Israel. Gaza must be rebuilt for Palestinians — and those responsible for its demolition must face justice.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social should we have a credibility score for politicians, a score that decreases when they lie or are involved in scandals and get rumbled? That way when someone’s pedalling you snake oil you can check the credibility score and avoid being sold something like, say Brexit….
