There's kind of a bell curve around Lenin among Leftists. If you've read no Lenin you probably hate him. If you've had it explained to you by someone laundering him you probably love Lenin more than your own parents. And if you've read LOTS of Lenin, you hate Lenin. The Lenin Curve.

I hate hearing "George Floyd wasn't a Saint" cus it misses the entire point. He wasn't a Saint. He was a regular man who did some good things and some bad. But he was Black, so he's dead. Killed by a cop like so many others. His life mattered despite his mistakes. Black lives fucking matter.

Its interesting that the Right has created a movement so opposed to basic reality that the Left has become hyper-informed and vigilant for disinfo as a reaction. The 90s-2000s Left was NOT like this. Online education helped, but the Right becoming so unhinged is what really did it.
