Qatar closes airspace due to credible threat against US airbase on it's territory. I imagine there will be a lot of this happening from now on & perhaps not just in the middle east region.

Sometimes current events bring back memories of the past. Today my mind took me back to the times in the 60s whilst I was in primary school & the local air raid siren would wail, we would then crawl beneath our school desks...for protection from nuclear fallout!

In so many human interactions the reasons given for a mode of behaviour are often masking the true reasons. On the face of it the reason the US bombed Irans nuclear sites is to prevent them developing a nuclear weapon. That may be true. It doesn't stop them from acquiring one from elsewhere though.

Regarding Iran. I wonder if US satellites have been monitoring the Iranian nuclear sites over the previous weeks & months? In light of threats to attack facilities, it would have been the smart move to have dispersed important materials & equipment to other storage sites.
