Empty shops bit tatty high street. News two shops and bank branch closing down. I can't help frustrated. Bus routes being poor and not on time. Nothing works. Just adds to a sense idk. How to describe it but feeling things need to change.

On a technical level problem with robot taxis is lack of data. They would be smarter and safer if they had access to other cars info or location data. But that creates a safety nightmare. Practical level replacing cars with more cars. Wouldn't it make more sense to have better public transport?

Obvious point to make @stephenkb.bsky.social but perhaps labour current lack being prepared to govern was due rishi holding up the talks until last minute and not many happened. Had all these ideas but quickly hit the wall and no political desire to climb the wall to face challenges.
