Some spooky railroad bridge pictures taken with my Kodak Brownie Six-Twenty Junior box cam from the 1930s. I forgot to put tape over the window that shows how many shots you have left, so a lot of light leakage. #shittycamera #oldcamera #kodakbrownie

Early morning dewy photo shoot at the park across from my house.

After a long struggle with winter depression I am finally enjoying spoon carving again. Here is a spoon and spork in black walnut. The spoon for a friend, the spork for my camping kit. It’s big enough to cook with, but small enough for eating too!

Goldfinch and cardinal adding some spring colors at the feeder today.

Going to take some pictures of old abandoned bridge with my Brownie Six-Twenty in a bit. Can’t wait to see how they come out! Took pictures with my dslr 4 years ago.

I normally don’t like tree graffiti, but I’m giving this one my ok since the tree is dead, and it is marker instead of carved in. Also, it is pretty damn cute, and made me smile. #tree #treepower #ilovetrees

Drunk squirrel at the feeder. Sometimes they dig up some old fruit or berries in the spring and get drunk from the fermented juices! #squirrel #drunk #drunksquirrel

First spoon work in a couple months. Thanks for the help Grizzly. Does Bluesky know about Riseup and carve? Check out www.riseupandcarve.com for more info! It is a continuous zoom channel where you can log on and carve with folks from all over the world!

First camping trip of the new year. It was windy and warm Saturday, raining and cold Sunday morning. I tested my new 1 person backpacking tent, but had coffee with my brother in his hot tent Sunday morning. Venison, potatoes and asparagus on the fire for dinner

Super clear last night at 2 am, got some pictures of the lunar eclipse with my Nikon Z5. I’m struggling with focus at night, was too sleepy to grab my other glasses. Good colors, kind of blurry. #lunareclipse #bloodmoon

Sunny and 54f is southern Michigan today! Nice walk with Birch and a bit of carving for me and the deck!

We've been saving this little pup for when we thought you all might really need a gold star. And, given the current circumstances, here she is. 13/10

Sunrise with rays over DTW airport on my way to work today.

Muppet, queen of the window table!

Freezing rain last night. Taillights through frozen windshield!

Snowy day at the bird/squirrel feeder.

I wish I could post more than 4 pictures at a time here. Here are more from the Brownie Reflex Synchro #shittycamerachallenge #bwphoto #film

Kodak Brownie reflex synchro, made in the late 40s. These came out way better than the Brownie from the sixties. ISO 400 127 new film. The pics from the camera were a partly cloudy cold day in December #shittycamerachallenge #oldcamera #filmphotograpy

Shots from my Kodak Brownie super 27. This camera is from the early 1960s. It uses 127 film, and this was 400 iso new film. When I went to load it in the camera it unspooled a bit, and the film kept advancing even if no one touched the winder. Only 3 came out, but I like them! #shittycamerachallenge

I made myself this black walnut spork necklace last year, making an even smaller one for a friend’s birthday. #spooncarving #spork #woodcarving #carving

One of my other hobbies is photographing old metal bridges around Michigan. This one was built in 1907, and was used until 2011.

Spotted a rare North American Table Lion in my living room this morning! So majestic! #cat #tablelion

Here are the other four pictures from that roll. This camera only gets 8 shots from a roll of 620 film. #shittycamerachallenge

Took my Brownie six-twenty junior from the 1930s to see some lighthouses on Lake Michigan. #shittycamerachallenge #kodakbrownie #bwphotography

Taken on my Kodak Brownie Six-Twenty Junior. New 620 film, 100 ISO. I had no idea what I was doing, but I just shot my 2nd roll and can’t wait to see how those came out! Tons of light leakage. #shittycamerachallenge #shittyphotochallenge
