Ya know what’s crazy about have a toxic support system as a single parent is that when your kids get older they try to say they raised them. Like no you didn’t fam…. You stood on the shore watching us drown with a bucket of popcorn in your hands telling me to swim harder.

I was sober for 15 years before anyone told me I should be proud of that accomplishment and that they were proud of me…. it was a therapist. January marked 20 years for me and this month marked 15 years out of my abusive marriage. I AM PROUD OF ME.

I had the pleasure of being a vendor in the largest craft show I’ve entered to date. I was extremely nervous and have been very scared to promote my pieces and myself. I not only survived the show but enjoyed it. I am also realizing I think about my own failures too much.
