Moonlight Fantasy is decent thus far. I keep getting reminded of Tenchi Muyo , which is amusing

Oh man, Teppu got licensed? It's a female MMA manga, and it's awesome. You all should read it. www.amazon.com/Teppu-Vol-1-...

Salad Bowl of eccentrics was pretty good again. I hope we get more Neya

The bath scene in Voice Actor Radio E03 felt really out of place, especially for an anime with a more grounded tone . Konosuba manages to be more tasteful

E02 of the seiyuu anime was an improvement on E01. Still not great, but worth sticking with

Had a nightmare that I had a book report due, but the only fiction I had been reading was manga.

Precure having characters freak out over a cat that’s not actually loss is so real. Also, getting some great fight scenes

Another good episode of Astro Note, I like that the romantic rival is a good dude with a cool car. The actual chase scene had better animation than I expected too!

I think the anime approach works better, since the cast all act like people with substantial life experience

Reading the Undead Girl Murder Farce manga, and it’s striking how much younger the characters look compared to the anime. It makes quite a tonal difference

I appreciated how accessible the Spy X Family movie was. My friend who hadn’t seen the show still enjoyed it

The Spy X Family was a lot of fun, and all the stylized animation sequences were great. First time I’ve seen anime in iMax

Need to hurry up and get some Vampire wins before he’s nerfed

Currently addicted to Balatro, finally beat it with every deck on the first ante. It’s really silly how powerful high card strategies can be compared to more complicated hands

I tend to get really frustrated by the focus on live action remakes of animated shows (just watch the original), but I’ve got to admit that they do tend to get much better viewership.

That was a great Precure episode. Love seeing Komugi as a third wheel. Intrigued by the revelation that Cure Nyammy is already active

Train to the End of the World E03, which coincidentally also involves girls and trains in a post-apocalyptic setting, was much better. Also much creepier.

Finished Black Rock Shooter Dawnfall E03, and I'm dropping this series. The last bit was just too pointlessly grimdark.

I haven't been posting as much because Bluesky is unfortunately much more compelling than work meetings, and I need to focus on the latter.

It's funny seeing Konosuba S03E01 after watching so much UY. The shows share a lot of the same DNA and approach to comedy. Literally, in the sense that Kazuma may as well be Ataru's son.

Delicious in a Dungeon was awesome again. Love the first person CRPG aesthetic. I appreciate it when the show infantilizes Chilchuvk

The seiyuu radio anime was mediocre. It feels like the characters should have had substantially more intense and incompatible personalities to live up to the premise. Girlish Number was great

Apothecary Diaries and Frieren bothers had very suitable finales . Love Maomao and her ox bezoar

Gave Black Rock Shooter Dawnfall a shot. E01 was deeply uninspiring, but I’ll stick with it for now

Salad Bowl of Eccentrics has a lot of promise, despite the oddly out of place fan service. It’ll live or die based on how harem-y it gets

This season of Precure reminds me of Doremi, with the emphasis on using powers for problem solving rather than combat. It was so heartwarming to see Mayus first opportunity to be ignored by a cat.

Witch and the Beast had a fun finale. Unsealed Farvell was so satisfying. I hope we get an S02 of the anime, about vampire world and awesome outfits

The Sengoku Youko finale was fantastic, and I'm glad we're getting more cours. Every time you think the series is settling into a groove, it changes direction. Compelling but problematic deconstruction of the "guys yelling at each other and powering up" genre. ;)

Today's Delicious in a Dungeon really brought home the "American culture through the eyes of Japanese culture" vibe of the series. The finale was even better "Japanese culture as interpreted by Americans through the eyes of Japanese people." Also, the fantasy anti-racism bits were great. #anime

Trying to resist the urge to say things like “that sounds like a You problem at work “

Just checked the Spring streaming schedule -- Astro Note looks kind of interesting. "Romance anime with adults" is generally worth a try.

That was not how I expected a Cute Girls Riding the Train anime to go. Um, OK. Broke: 5G Conspiracies Woke: 7G Conspiracies

This week's #precure is by far the best entry in the Air Bud franchise. Also, the Evil Duck was amazing. Loved it.

Dealing with time zones when programming is truly cursed

First Precure school episode was great. I love Komugi sniffing things

Delicious in the Dungeon had a great capstone episode, and I love Chilchuks journey. Also, fitting that a series so inspired by D&D has a mad wizard responsible for everything

The Foolish Angel finale was a return to form for the series. I wish the whole anime had been like that, instead of the stuff with her siblings

Studio Apartment Angel Included E01 was a very cute series. For some reason, it really has the vibes of 2000s-era anime.

That was an excellent finale for Weakest Tamer Picks up Trash, with a great sense of closure. #anime Not sure why Ivy was still hunting mice though.

Finished Hokkaido Gals, and it felt like a cop-out. The show had a C+ grade romance for A+ Hokkaido Gals. #anime

The scene in Weakest Tamer where they talked about how much the people they convicted would suffer took me aback, but it’s entirely on brand for this show. “Fate worse than death” indeed. At least Meela might be able to cut a deal! That action seen was quite good

Having good luck playing Escape Academy with a friend, as a set of virtual escape rooms. We’re doing better as it goes on, which is satisfying. Wish it had character customization though!

Crunchyroll isn't working for me, so I'm catching up on Synduality. Man, I'm very, very impressed by how well they handled Ciel's arc in S02. They did a great job going beyond the normal cliches (and resolved the "robot GF vs idol GF?" question nicely.) I love Mystere and Pascale content too!

OK, I'm hoping the Delicious in a Dungeoneers got fire resistance for eating a Red Dragon corpse. Also they really aren't beating the "Falin/Marcielle are an item" allegations, are they.
