Sadly our interview with Valentine Warner at Abergavenny Food festival last September was drowned out by the crowd. Hopefully we will bump into him again tomorrow at the British Wild food festival and maybe have another go

This looks amazing @karmawall.bsky.social

With thanks to @bloomsburybooksuk.bsky.social, we have a copy of Indian Kitchens by Roopa Gulati to give away with one of our 10” prospector pans. Follow us and then full find entry details here www.netherton-foundry.co.uk/competitions

We are very proud to announce that we are partners with Meatopia for 2025! The first event of the year is coming up next weekend at SWG3 in Glasgow. Meatopia features the very best live-fire chefs from around the world, all cooking over wood or charcoal and serving one carefully curated dish each.

To complement our plastic-free cookware we've made some beautiful wooden utensils for use with your iron and copper cookware. The ash blades on our palette slice and spatula are locally sourced and firmly attached to a typical Netherton Foundry black iron handle. www.netherton-foundry.co.uk/Utensil

Two days of Wild Food fun and activities. We’ll be there with a full range of outdoor cooking kit. Join us at the British Wild Food festival at Hawkstone Follies, Shrewsbury next weekend. Looking forward to meeting lots of new folk.

Good to see @nigella.bsky.social Cook, Eat, Repeat back on BBC2

More love for our prosector roasting tray. In last Saturday's Times Eat! section Romas Foord photo'd Hannah Evans' gnocchi traybake with chorizo & tomatoes in one, alongside a Giorgio Locatelli recipe for gnocchi alla Sorrentina, nestling in a 12" prospector pan. www.thetimes.com/life-style/f...

Last chance - competition to win @jennylinford.bsky.social book REPAST and a Netherton Foundry casserole closes at midnight! www.netherton-foundry.co.uk/competitions

The English asparagus season is nearly over, so we're making the most of it while it lasts. This compact roasting tray is full of sweet and salty. Za'atar flecked flatbreads were cooked on our griddle plate. British strawberries are here, so celebrating with pavlova on our baking and serving trays.

The UK food industry says NO to starvation as a weapon of war! If you're working in food media and you're from the UK might you consider adding your name to this petition? docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

Factory visit It was aprivilege to welcome our American stockist, Goods for Cooks & a pleasure to meet them in real life. We sat outside in glorious sunshine for tea & cake, followed by an in-depth look at how the pans are made. Sam will be explaining the process in detail to all her customers.

Plastic kitchenware is a major source of contamination at home. Start by swapping out plastic utensils for safer options Our cookware is free from plastic & chemical coatings, so we've added a set of utensils to meet the same criteria. A skimmer, palette slice, ladle & spatula made from black iron

Viva Mexicana Mexican food is having a bit of a moment. If you're caught up in the flavour flow, why not add some authenticity with home made tortillas. Ours was designed for star Mexican chef Santiago Lastra, but would work just as well in your kitchen! www.netherton-foundry.co.uk/baking-tins/...

Seemed like a good idea at the time, but 850kg of chippings manually carried up the garden bucket by bucket was seriously hardwork

A special occasion (a family birthday) called for a special dessert, which was the perfect excuse to use our copper loaf tin to make it as elegant as it was delicious. This is a pistachio and strawberry riff on a tiramisu, making the most of the first English berries of the season.
