Heading home from our beach trip. I wonder how much longer we'll be going there. The heat really does a number on both of us, not to mention carrying all the equipment on the sand. My body has really aged the last few years. Dammit...

Maizie has been here for 6 months, and today, I saw her snuggling with Simon. There's been some alpha dog moments between her and Maxwell, but even they are starting to interact more. We're boarding them instead of taking them on vaca, and I'm hoping they're not traumatized, but care for each other.

Oh goodie... Yet another rainy day in Virginia. Another day for the dogs to refuse to go out and to stealth pee somewhere in the house. I've had trouble fighting the winter blahs this year, and a whole week of rain doesn't help.
