The night before hurricane Katrina rolled in, everyone gassed up, knowing the pipeline was going to shut down. The prices shot up, and one by one, stations ran out of gas. Thought there’d be gas lines cuz of Trump and Iran, but not happening. So I bought gas and went grocery shopping.

The weather has been so odd. So much rain. Now there’s a nice breeze, but I closed up the house and am running the air conditioner to dry it out. The doors are stuck, the dresser drawers don’t close, and the salt won’t shake.

I joined a facebook group for people with alphagal, a tick borne illness that triggers mammal related food allergies. I realized most people don't truly cook from scratch. They cook from products, not ingredients. I'm thinking of starting a series of simple 3 step videos to change this. Thoughts?

In my work as a pastry chef, I worked in kitchens with people who were not in the US legally. I see them as brave. It would be really hard to move to a country where you don't speak the language or share the culture, and then game a system simply so you can work and pay bills.

I was looking at the search terms people used to find my work on Etsy. I was pleased to see High Quality Bolo Ties brought someone. I'm certain the algorithm picked that up from reviews. I have no idea why Grateful Dead Tee Shirt brought someone to my shop. I do enamelwork. #art #etsy
