My cousin is a grandmother who loved Take That (& still does) when they were 1st famous when she was a teenager. The thing is so does her granddaughter who has just become a teenager. Music never really did this when I was kid. It’s like the more things change the more culture doesn’t age…

I initially resisted idea of Trump as a Wodehousian character but the more I thought about it the more it makes sense. The US is currently at the stage of an absurd Wodehouse novel where the impossible is accepted as it’s laughable & consequence free for those involved. (If not for those affected).

Obviously every country needs to patrol its borders and the US is not required to take in millions of people… ..however assuming that most of these non-legally residents are working, often at quite low wages, they are probably one of the most efficient parts of US economy. What happens if they go?

As a man who’s slowly got into Arsenal WSL I’ve noticed an interesting crowd split: 1. A very motivated, loud female oft longtime WSL aficionados 2. Increasing number of oft relatively quiet male Arsenal fans + parents who couldn’t get hold of PL tickets, *dabbling* in WSL and are now…staying.

Not convinced this is correct. It looks like they’ve taken the 100 World Cup games multiplied it by an average attendance of 50 000 to get 5 million. In reality a lot of people outside America won’t come. The WC will have to rely on Americans to get discounted tickets to watch Uzbekistan v Chile.
