Wow. France is banning smoking in public areas to help protect kids. Meanwhile, in the US, republicans are keeping kids safe by taking away their healthcare and access to food. Oh yeah, and by allowing anyone to have automatic weapons. That should keep them safe. These lawmakers are sick.

In New York, ICE detained a busload of farmworkers that were actively involved in a union drive. In Washington state, ICE dragged a farmworkers’ rights activist and leader out of his car to detain him. Be warned: attacking unions is a hallmark of fascism.

The US health care system is broken & wildly expensive. The function of a health care system is not to provide billions in profits for insurance & drug companies. It is to provide quality care as a human right. The time is NOW to pass Medicare for All.
