Lunchtime reading Birrias: 65 Recipes from Traditional to Modern by Jesse Valenciana. Light on culinary history, big on personal experiences—which ain’t a bad approach. But it does explain Vietnamese, German, Polish, Japanese, and other touches in the book. Glad to own it, happy to read it.
