Beautiful. Genuinely moved by the absolute sincerity of it and the weight of choice. I thought it tied the franchise together really well, loved the return of a certain character. Submarine dive and bi-plane scenes had me on edge - Anti-God in the underworld and in the sky.

The literary giant Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o (and one of my favorite authors) has passed. 😔 Wizard of the Crow is a masterpiece. He has many greats. I'm glad I got to meet him a few times (I always encouraged him to write a science fiction novel...he said he'd consider it).

Breaking character for a moment. Rare, but I’m a stutterer & I feel I should remind people - a stutter is not a sign of mental impairment or decline. Inability to control the stutter often comes from fatigue. It can also come from lack of clarity in thought. They are distinct things. - JS
