And when he does this in 2028, to stop the election he is losing, we will have become accustomed to it.

“…warned of “very serious consequences” if Musk gave money to Democratic candidates” Holy crap. A sitting president warning someone from donating to an opposition candidate or face “very serious consequences”. And this is barely a headline. www.nytimes.com/live/2025/06...

Amazing how it’s not even news anymore that a sitting president has threatened to cancel federal contracts with someone who has just insulted him. And for no other reason. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

“The United States is now the only country in the world that doesn’t consider pregnancy to be a risk for severe Covid infection.” pauloffit.substack.com/p/the-covid-...

“Does refusing to hire a Holocaust denier as a member of Harvard’s history department faculty count as an ideological limit test?” Replying, McMahon said: “I believe that there should be diversity of viewpoints relative to teachings and opinions on campuses.” www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

"My career in public health and vaccinology started with a deep-seated desire to help the most vulnerable members of our population, and that is not something I am able to continue doing in this role." www.reuters.com/business/hea...

Cole Schmidtknecht, 22, had insurance but couldn’t afford to refill his asthma inhaler after the cost jumped from $70 to more than $500. Five days after his pharmacy visit last year, Cole had a severe asthma attack and died. nbcnews.to/4mM9cGV

Curious as to the line of thinking. How is slashing govt funding of research somehow helping combat the influence of “Big Pharma”? Who do they expect will fund the research if it’s neither the govt or private industry? www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

And by "quacks who will second guess the decisions from a distance", we saw this throughout the pandemic. I'm looking at you, Jay Bhattacharya.

What constitutes "risk of life to the mother" is ALWAYS subjective. And there will always be quacks who will second guess the decisions from a distance. If is a doc is facing prison for murder for doing something, it will certainly influence the decision to proceed. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/03/u...

Bingo. And not a peep from the right wing propaganda machine, ie Fox.

He was absolutely NOT joking. Anymore than RFK was joking about calling the covid vaccine the “deadliest vaccine ever made”. We are well into #idiocracy territory. For those who stayed home last November because of the price of eggs, this is on you. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/02/u...

“Musk’s drug consumption went well beyond occasional use. He was taking so much ketamine, a powerful anesthetic, that it was affecting his bladder, a known effect of chronic use. He took Ecstasy & psychedelic mushrooms. He traveled with a daily medication box that held 20 pills, including Adderall.”

NEW: Megan Twohey and I went deep on Elon Musk’s intense drug use as he rose to political power alongside Trump last year. He was using so much ketamine that he told people it was affecting his bladder. At SpaceX, he is getting warnings ahead of drug tests www.nytimes.com/2025/05/30/u...

open.substack.com/pub/pauloffi... RFK Jr. has now put healthy young children at risk. He should step down as head of HHS. Enough.

Here are the 200+ people who've received pardons or commutations from Trump and avoided prison time as a result. In total, more than seven centuries of incarceration were wiped clean, mostly to people involved in Jan. 6. Gift link: wapo.st/3Hfd174

again all of this stuff is resignation-level for literally everyone involved www.notus.org/health-scien...

I have been sick for a week and I just read about "something going around" in a subreddit, which I guess is how I get my information now that the CDC is officially spending the next four years determining when and how microscopes became gay.

RFK: "Horton 'really disgraced himself'...when The Lancet retracted a study linking...hydroxychloroquine to increased Covid-19 deaths." Lancet also once retracted the study that started the anti-vaxx movement. Don't hear Bobby mentioning that, though. www.politico.com/news/2025/05...

"It ignores the opinions of the medical experts who help make these recommendations, and it also ignores all of the liaison organizations that work with the [CDC's advisory panel] to craft these recommendations" abcnews.go.com/Politics/rfk...

Never mind things like evidence, etc. Support Trump and/or pay a couple a million (per Giuliani’s wife) and you were now wrongfully convicted and get a pardon. “Law and order” #idiocracy www.nytimes.com/2025/05/27/u...

Orwell was about 50 years too early with his prediction, but was otherwise spot-on. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/26/u...

The “don’t trust” comes from those, like yourself, who perpetuated misinformation throughout the pandemic. Not from “us” in the medical field who were busy trying to save lives.

Incredible that the side of the debate that was repeatedly wrong to the tune of hundreds of thousands of deaths has the audacity to demand apologies and genuflection from the people who were right and worked to save lives. Sick shit!

Was thinking about this piece @gavinyamey.bsky.social and I wrote together back in 2023. I don't think it's so much inmates running the asylum today as much as serial arsonists.

If you think these are the first warning signs, we crossed that bridge a LONG time ago. 3 years from now, Trump will have an “election integrity commission” that will have full control of the voting process. And we will have long since stopped trying to resist. www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio...

Holy crap, there is no stage 5 cancer! There is no stage 9 cancer either! Things keep getting stupider and stupider and stupider and stupider, when is it going to finally just bottom out???

Stage 9 cancer is like a GCS of 20

youtu.be/zGjv0zra-2o?... How RFK Jr. could destroy the vaccine infrastructure. It wouldn't be that hard.

Discredited researcher, vaccine skeptic was disciplined for practicing medicine without a license Who Is David Geier, the Man Leading Federal Autism-Vaccine Study? www.medpagetoday.com/neurology/au...

RFK Jr. is objectively wrong here. The Maryland Board of Physicians found that David Geier, who does not have a medical degree, had diagnosed a patient, selected & ordered blood tests & was therefore practicing medicine without a license. He was fined $10,000. That decision was NEVER overturned.

“He also continued to defend the hiring of David Geier, claiming that the judgment of the Maryland medical board that fined him for practicing medicine without a license was later overturned and that Geier had been vindicated. This is a lie.” autisticadvocacy.org/2025/05/cris...

You cannot “add clarity”. It will always be subjective whether or not a mother’s life is at risk. And if a doctor faces potential life in prison, you can be damned sure he/she will be very hesitant to proceed. Which means women will die. How does no one get this??? www.npr.org/sections/sho...

This isn’t a good idea even if the plane was being donated to the U.S. government. But Trump GETS TO KEEP THE PLANE??? It’s simply a cash payment to Trump in exchange for favors. Just wildly illegal.
