Kinda surprised that a nazi doesn’t know about Operation Paperclip

Me: Who enforces judicial orders? Google: Judicial orders are enforced by the executive branch, primarily through the U.S. Marshals Service. The Marshals Service, a part of the Department of Justice, is responsible for executing court orders, serving summonses, and making arrests.

Good morning warriors! Wherever you are, that's where you start.

Just as there's no "enough" for a Trumper until it affects them personally, there's no end to resistant inertia from white liberals until it affects them personally. They're starting to have the first glimmerings, and are doing the things people with first glimmerings do. Which is mostly denial.

She wouldn't like it if I said more, so without any details about what her 3pm meeting looks like, holy shit, my girlfriend is a serious badass.

I can't shake the white liberal bullshit of the last few rallies I attended. I know, I know. This isn't news to a whole lot of people. I guess I thought current circumstances would have stepped up their game. But the mass of white liberals don't actually mean "resist" as a transitive verb, do they.

The line "I can tell where the editor started drinking" did not make the final cut.

WE SHALL NOT FIGHT THEM ON THE FACEBOOK! WE SHALL NOT FIGHT THEM ON THE LINKEDIN! WE SHALL NOT FIGHT THEM IN THE POLLS, OR THE SHOPS, OR IN THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, OR ON THE STREETS, OR ON THE BEACHES, OR IN THE FIELDS, OR WHEREVER SOMEONE MIGHT GET A LITTLE UPSET!

Good morning, warriors. Get up. Brush your teeth.

Wonder what the price tag was for this, too.

I wonder what the price tag was.

I mean, I’m not sure what this dude thought was gonna happen. Punk rockers hate Nazis. Most of their songs are about telling Nazis to fuck off. www.reddit.com/r/therewasan...

If your community is ready for you, you are too late.

It’s strange to watch Americans memorialize soldiers who died for democracy whilst they giddily embrace fascism.

This just came up while I was working on ebooks for Scholastic. I was playing in an Afropop band when it came out. The memories attached to this track… www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bzi...

I bought a paperback copy of A Gentleman in Moscow so I could find the passage I want to write in the little notebook I'll be carrying in my back pocket while on the clock at TJ's. Because there's no way of finding it again in an audiobook. Because they're not books. (I love them both.)

Right, a link. I always forget. epubulator.com

Man, I love tweaking word timings in my EPUBulator so they feel good to the kid listening to the narrator/watching the words light up. It's not realistic to do with any other tool I'm aware of, and the timing being 10ms off is exactly what would have made me hate readaloud books as a kid.

For a long time, I wondered "What's the use of having it drilled into me that 'it can happen here' as a kid, when no one told us what to DO ABOUT IT?" Here's the answer: You can't do anything about it. Plan, dig in, and protect your own. If your ass isn't in gear yet, GET YOUR FUCKING ASS IN GEAR.

Yo JFC Tim lmaoooo

Good, I have eleven months.

Not drowning, but waving.

Makes sense to me.

And BTW, all those commas mean no errors, which means the EPUBulator (the ebook tool I invented for adding media-overlays with word-level highlighting to EPUBs) is still, AFAIK, the best thing that has ever existed for making readaloud fixed-layout kids' ebooks. That's right. Killing it. 💪

Missed a big deadline this week from sheer cognitive circuit fry on all the rockets I'm trying to pilot, plus holy shit, the cross-dependencies, burnout errors, and weird fuckups. But anyway, it's Saturday, brain's fried, heart's racing, and just need to remind myself I'm killing it. Keep going, me.
