Sadly, we’ve reached this point thanks to Trump and MAGA, but President Zelensky is probably right. Europe can no longer rely on the United States. They will have to build their own army and take care of their own security—which means they’ll be less likely to help us when we need them.

Yes. Important for all NIH people and scientists: The executive orders are not law. The President *cannot* make laws. And in fact, executive orders may violate the law. As a federal employee, you are obligated not to follow illegal orders. That includes illegal EOs.

Trump has deployed active military to help round up migrants and put them into detention camps. The military forced us out of our homes at gunpoint in 1942 because we were considered possibly disloyal Americans. They sent us to internment camps for four years. History is repeating. Pay attention.
