Non controversial superiors are so good for your mental health.

I bury myself in, and preoccupy my time with, work. Because thinking about my personal life and how to move it forward gives me anxiety. An avoidance issue.

People don’t change from black to white. They are merely opportunists who navigate through popular politics of the time to get ahead.

Abrupt exit from Facebook and other social media apps, and I am okay with it. It’s been almost three weeks and I haven’t tried to get back on. I do miss talking to some friends and acquaintances though.

Quietly competitive with the other Peloton riders. I made it to the top 50% after 9 rides the other day, and that’s all that I can ask for. Hoping my stamina will improve over time.

Ah, back in the day when I walked up 15 flights up the stairs on a regular basis. Now I can’t even get up half a flight without being winded and legs burning. But 2025 goals will prevail!

Workaround for Peloton clicking out of shoes: never take the shoes off the Peloton pedals because I might just take my feet off trying in vain to use their technique. Hop off afterwards. Easy peasy.

Decluttering space. Hopefully it translate into decluttering of the mind. In any event it makes me happy.

The most I’ll feel judged is when someone asks what my favorite band or music genre is. Anytime someone asks that question, the answer they don’t want to hear is a popular band. It has to be obscure. Those are the rules.

It’s actually pretty fun and soothing to contribute some home made appetizers (no matter how tasty) to a wider family Thanksgiving gathering instead of buying a grocery store charcuterie board vacuumed sealed in plastic, and some soda. Something I normally do.

You’ve got Chinese men from a certain province on LinkedIn from major companies, and White men who only befriend “single cat ladies” (I don’t own a cat but assuming they put me in the same class) on Bluesky. Scammers scam on stereotypes.

You know when you were younger and you were hard on yourself, no matter what you heard others say? 10 years later…I wasn’t too shabby looking back then. Also, me trying too hard, but okay.

Kinda strange seeing people I deem successful obsessing over their follower count and likes on here, but other than that, it’s a nice place to get some perspective and news.

Memory of an interview I did at 22 for a news station. They had thought I had an interesting resume and sought me out. I blew it, because of my anxiousness and lack of confidence. I am, however, grateful for that experience. It was not meant to be.

Left Twitter two years ago and with my curated list here it’s Twitter, but Bluesky. It’s great.

We’ll see how this goes. Hello Bluesky.
