I am saddened to learn of the passing of Congressman Charlie Rangel. A founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus. A fearless fighter for Harlem. A decorated veteran who never stopped serving the people.

Our economy is essentially one big Ponzi scheme. We borrow from Paul & then borrow from Peter to pay Paul. Then we use our GDP to pay the interest on the loans from Peter. We also use our tax policies to siphon all of the wealth to the richest 1%, while spreading all the risk to the rest of us.
