Seeing Timothy Simons in #TheHandmaidsTale, no one can convince that The Handmaids Tale is not set in the same universe as Veep. 📺

I really envy how optimistic estate agents are, always putting positivity in their ads Property missing a roof "lots of potential"

Song thoughts Trying not to cry while listening to 'Bad Year' by The Spook School is hard But then again "it's alright to cry (sometimes)" (which is lyrics from the next song on the album.) So I think it's ok

Your regular reminder that Hadley Freeman is a Woody Allen defender and misrepresented the views of both Margaret Atwood and Judy Blume so badly, they both released statements after her interviews were published. This is not a serious person.

The Cass Review gets peer reviewed and absolutely shredded Cass is the Wakefield of our time. A scandal in broad daylight

I absolutely loved "The History of my Sexuality" by Tobi Lakmaker, translated by Kristen Gehrman. #Booksky 📚💙 Extremely Funny, heartfelt, at times goes deep, both in grief and also other ways I can totally relate. Superb.

Watching The Ultimate Cycling Show on Quest last night and listening to Taylor Phinney, Ithink he should start doing meditation podcasts. He has such a laid back relaxed tone, I could dreamily listen to him talk all day long

Did I ever post up the letter I got from Kemi Badenoch in 2020? The one where she says the Tory government had no interest in curtailing the use of gendered spaces by transgender people? I think I did not.

Line from novel I am reading "People are probably nicer breaking up with their accountants than Jennifer was with me" When people break up with their accountant, it involves ghosting and ignoring. Eventually, if you are lucky, the new accountant asks "have you any objection if we see your ex?"1/2

A big insect got caught in a bucket of mine. I thought "what would david Attenborough do" but that would be record the insect struggling in bucket, until it dies (Ie the penguins being stuck in a series of his, criticising crew for helping them) So I turned bucket on side, to let the insect get out

I really like the lotto jersey

The wait is over! The first Grand Tour of the year begins tomorrow! As #LaVueltaFemenina kicks off with a team time trial in Barcelona and sets the tone for an exciting week of racing Here is a quick overview of what is to come! ⬇️ yasminlv07.wixsite.com/cyclingyazz-...

I take it as a very good sign that I haven't heard the BBC this resentful about the entire subject in quite some time, for years it's been wall to wall gloating and now groundwork is being done for future arse covering. The framing of this article feels cautious because we all know what's coming.

Lots of very high profile UK biologists sign a letter saying that biological sex isn't binary or immutable and that the Supreme Court's ruling is scientifically wrong! We really need to hammer home how the anti-trans side is anti-science (you can add your name still if you are in a relevant field)

What is Zwiehof going to be presented with at #TourDeRomandie for leading the mountains competition? #BikeSky #CyclingBikeSky

Don't forget, while they are saying that people shouldn't be allowed to transition because trans people have fewer rights they are also saying that trans people have not had any rights taken away.

Absolutely insane. Uneblieveable. "Sex Matters", one of the hate groups responsible for removing trans people's rights via the Supreme Court are arguing that trans people shouldn't be allowed to transition because they don't have rights and not having rights is bad. Fucking hell

Kp nuts be like "Silver medal is a fancy word for Participation award

Seeing this sign in a shop window always cheers me up

🚨 The British Medical Association has today Condemned what it called the Supreme Court’s “scientifically illiterate, biologically nonsensical ruling” They will continue to affirm the rights of trans and non-binary individuals to live their lives with dignity, having their identity respected.

@julietcampbellmp.bsky.social knew exactly how this would land - and exactly who it would hurt A deliberate, calculated act of cruelty This is what @teamlabouruk.bsky.social stands for now: a party of hate, discrimination, and state-sanctioned abuse #Segregation #Section28 #SeparateAndUnequal

I like #TheLastOfUs but I feel that really would put someone off eating mushrooms 📺 🍄

🖤🤍TOON FOR TRANS RIGHTS🤍🖤 Live coverage of the Newcastle Protest against the supreme court at Grey's Monument. There's hundreds!!

How do people binge multiple episodes of a tv series I'm one sitting? I'm currently watching one series, and instead of 3 episodes in one sitting, it takes me three sittings to watch one episode 📺

Pedro Pascal;

This statement about the transphobic Supreme Court ruling by the UK's Crab Museum (yes a museum about crabs) is better than 99% of the statements I've seen on the topic www.crabmuseum.org/visit 🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀

With neither Pogacar or Evenepoel being the type of riders to wait for the end of a race to make a move, I wonder that'll happen in Fleche Wallone. When was the last time, it wasn't decided in the slowest sprint finish in cycling? #BikeSky #CyclingBlueSky

Finished "The Safekeep" by Yael Van Der Wouden 📚💙 #BookSky I must admit, was not into it until the third part of it, which then made me keep looking back to the first two parts. It is a very good read.

Keir Starmer is simply wrong in law. A trans woman with a Gender Recognition Certificate is considered a woman for the vast majority of legal purposes, as required by the ECHR. One would expect a former human rights lawyer to have a better grasp of legal detail.

My gender recognition certificate application was delayed because the panel wanted confirmation that I'd been using the ladies toilets for two years. You'd think the equalities minister would be familiar with the GRA and the GRC process.

Articles about trans people in the Guardian/Observer, Telegraph, Times and Mail since Wednesday's Supreme Court ruling, not one of which has been written by a trans person. Barely even featured actual trans people. Thursday - 28 Friday - 18 Saturday - 14 Sunday - 14 Monday - 14
