The pace of the Iran-Israel War is probably sustainable in its current form. Israel strikes Iranian targets with impunity. Iranian launches a dozen or two missiles back. Everyone threatens something more but reality is attrition serves their interests better.

The CNN report on an Israeli attack on Iran is probably credible in that the IDF is actively preparing for a failure of the talks. I'd be surprised if they weren't. But what is not clear is if Israel will nuke its relations with Trump by striking without his greenlight.
