Banana would like to let everyone know that he is feeling much better! It took a week of meds and syringe feeding to get him to finally eat on his own, but he now devours the wet food he gets three times a day. His energy level is also back to where it should be for a kitten his age.

Filly has been one of the most difficult kittens I have ever taken care of. From completely covering herself in food while eating, to peeing and pooping anywhere but the litter box, she has been more work than some large litters. At least she doesn't mind getting baths 😸

Meet Banana. I received a call from the people taking care of him and his littermates that he wasn't eating and was lethargic. After going to check on him, I decided to take him home with me to try to get him better. He's very weak, with a classic triangle face indicating malnutrition.

Even though we're sick, we're still super cute. Babies are currently on three different meds for diarrhea, and an antibiotic for the upper respiratory issue. They are starting to eat a bit better and have gained a little weight. Filly (girl) on the left & Colt (boy) on the right.

Picked up these two from transport earlier today. They are thought to be about 3 weeks old. Lighter brown is a boy and darker brown is a girl. Both are dehydrated, the girl has an upper respiratory issue, and the boy has bad diarrhea. Started them on different meds. Hoping they'll be better soon.

Kind of a bittersweet day today. My bottle babies went to a new foster home with another rescue. Feels a little weird walking into the bathroom and not having them climb up my legs or play with my shoelaces. Took these picks before I dropped them off. Aren't they adorable?

Tried to trap this momma cat for weeks before she had her babies. She would go halfway into the trap, and then back out. Tomorrow, I'm going to attempt to wrangle this semi-feral girl to give her kittens a better life. Who knows, maybe mom will surprise us and end up being friendly herself.

Jan is still looking for her very own humans. This 7-year-old girl is the most loving and attentive kitty that craves constant human contact. An adult only home would be her dream come true. Jan also wants to be an only cat, as she finds other cats to be a nuisance. Dogs are okay by her, though.

At the vet with Fuzzball to get his rabies vaccine updated because he's going home today! He wasn't all too pleased about being at the vet, but did amazing for a former feral cat. I'm so proud of him 🥰

Even with child safety locks on the kitchen cabinets, the little rascals here managed to break into one overnight. They helped themselves to four avocados and whatever was left of a loaf of Italian bread. They are all free to a good home 😝 (just kidding).

Sometimes you have to wait a very long time for the perfect home. But when you find it, it's like you've lived there your entire life. Penny has waited 2 yrs & 5 mos to find her people. We're told she's acclimated well. She loves her Labrador sister & follows her around the house. We are so happy!

Meet Cadence, our little FIP warrior. Cadence was treated for FIP in the beginning of 2023. She did great until about three weeks ago, when she had a relapse. Bloodwork showed severe anemia and her hind legs were paralyzed. We started treatment right away. She's wobbly, but able to walk again.
