At no point in this entire article of 16 paragraphs does ABC mention that another cop killed this cop by shooting her in the back. Nor does it mention the name of the cop who killed this cop. Nor does it mention that the civilians involved never fired at them. ABC might as well be state media.

Hell of a photo

Ron DeSantis stranded drivers at a bridge with no warning just to stop rainbow colors from appearing on it.

Watched Wolfs last night. Solid competency porn (thanks for the phrase @patrickhwillems.bsky.social )

"The first act of violence that patriarchy demands of males is not violence toward women. Instead patriarchy demands of all males that they engage in acts of psychic self-mutilation, that they kill off the emotional parts of themselves." — bell hooks

this is a letter to the editor from a high school track runner who came in second to a trans girl in a race. her state house rep in maine started talking about it. so she wrote this: www.pressherald.com/2025/05/14/r...

"The number of employed Black women dropped from 10.325 million in March to 10.219 million in April. Their unemployment rate jumped from 5.1% to 6.1%, the largest month-to-month increase among all racial and gender groups." www.washingtoninformer.com/black-women-...

For everyone who was like “Google search is getting worse,” we were absolutely right.

Drawn 6 years go today. It was rejected and called unfair and alarmist.

The Japanese artist Masayo Fukuda hand-cut this incredible life-sized octopus from one sheet of paper. Known as Kirie in Japanese (translated as “cut picture”), the traditional art form involves cutting intricate forms from a single sheet of white paper and contrasting it against a dark background.

The #Massachusetts GOP has come out against due process and in favor of concentration camps. #mapoli

There are people on here who believe that yelling at Democrats is done to make them lose, and there are people who think yelling at Democrats is a way to make them better, and we will never get along with each other

Thank you Daniel Berulis

Since Trump returned to office, "ICE agents have acted in ways that validate the worst caricatures of the agency. And yet we have not seen a wave of resignations. We have not seen pushback from career employees. We have not seen even off-the-record quotes of concern from ICE officers in the media."

Black Americans make up 13% of the population. But as federal government employees, Black employees are: 20% of the Dept. of Health & Human Services 24% of the Dept. of Veterans Affairs 26% of postal workers, 30% of the Dept. of Education That's the "swamp" Trump is draining.

This picture may haunt me to the end of my days. It is an ICE agent taking an axe to the car window of an immigrant in New Bedford, MA. Not far from where I sit now. An immigrant with no criminal record was abducted by this smiling man. An axe taken to a car window and to our democracy. 1/ #MomSky

fox and the gop have sold latino migrants as all being scary af ms-13 members. its the same thing nazis did with jewish people. repeat: it is the same thing nazis did with jewish people. the. same. thing.

3 days ago RFK Jr. told the CDC to stop recommending water fluoridation, claiming it was a neurotoxin (this is a lie). Turns out he also just eliminated the CDC’s entire Lead Program, and now lead poisoned children in Milwaukee are just on their own. Lead IS a neurotoxin and harms brain development

Following up on this. They just banned a Canadian trans musician from getting a visa to tour the US. They're straight up banning trans people from entering the US. www.stereogum.com/2303977/bell...

The important thing here is that some brave people said NO and they WALKED AWAY

Hey hi The government sold a man into slavery in El Salvador They now admit they messed up And are refusing to figure out a way to get him back

The US government just admitted to a federal court that it deported a father by mistake. It sent him to an el Salvadoran torture chamber and separated him from his US citizen family. Several DOJ lawyers have just now argued that the courts lack power to bring him home.
