I've come to terms with the fact that the country will continue to get worse throughout my lifetime - acceptance has been kind of a relief. Once you really start looking at what all would need to be done, it becomes very clear that the people of this country are in no way up to the task.

The easiest, clearest move, right now, would be for Evangelicals who believe the Bible is without error is to support refugees. It is a group that the Lord specifically says He loves. I think a lot of people who survived the pandemic without personally being touched by the worst outcomes of the actual virus have decided that everything negative that they *did* experience was completely unnecessary and done to them on purpose.
