The sinking of the USS Indianapolis story in Jaws gives amazing backstory. A couple average movies were made about its story. This book should've been the source material. The sharks were a small part of the survival. Dehydration played a huge part in causing hallucinations.

#NowWatching from (1975) Saw this 50 years ago when I was actually 9 with my mom and older sister. The theater has the shark hunter video game you see in the movie. My mom had the book from Readers Digest book of the month club. Owned the game, the Mr Jaws song, and yes, the shark joke book.

#NowWatching Season 2. After a successful first season, ratings began to decline. Most episodes involved a visitor to Vegas being in peril which felt tiresome. The addition of rear projection was used so Dan could have more conversations while driving. This looked fake.

#NowWatching from (1993) Another summer blockbuster. When I first saw it I recall I was more impressed with the John Williams score. Felt the scene with the car in the tree was well choreographed. I enjoyed the movie but wasn't blown away like with other big summer hits.
