If New York City can do ranked choice voting and get cool outcomes like this, then Canada can do the same thing. Literally just have ranked choice in each riding would be 10x improvement over what we have now.

o3 price change in Windsurf is a very welcome improvement! 1x credit makes it a totally viable choice.

BREAKING: Israeli Forces Board Gaza Aid Flotilla and Detain 12 Crew Members Zeteo contributor Greta Thunberg was on board the ship.

if Thunberg is brave enough to repeatedly put herself directly in harm’s way, then journalists can be brave enough to say that a civilian vessel was illegally seized in international waters, and its crew abducted

"My name is Greta Thunberg and I am from Sweden. If you see this video, we have been intercepted and kidnapped in international waters by the Israeli occupational forces, or forces that support Israel."

Just got out of watching The Phoenician Scheme and I can’t recommend it. The Wes Anderson style is just so boring now. The flat monotone voices. The flat camera angles. It was exhausting in a weird way. I actually thought about walking out, which I’ve only done once or twice in my life.

New voice in ChatGPT advanced voice mode is amazing.

At this phase in my life I cry every time I read “I’ll love you forever” to my kids.

I've started recording and then uploading my Padel matches to YouTube. The raw footage is super boring and so I've started editing out all the downtime. But man is it painful. I can see the equivalent of "Cursor" coming for film editing and it will save so much time! I'd pay a lot for it.

My Canadian university, Queen's, is offering TWENTY 4-year funded PhDs (40k CAD/yr) for a student of ANY citizenship who has been accepted at a top 100 US university but have had offer rescinded OR are reconsidering offer due to US policy. Details found here👇 www.queensu.ca/grad-postdoc...

I've been going through @danabra.mov 's RSC content and it's awesome. However, I haven't seen one of the big practical complications addressed - the introduction of a third execution environment.

Got new climbing shoes today and had a great session at Grand River Rocks Kitchener. Did all the orange tapes except for 2.

The real solution to AI use in schools is to let them use AI and make school way harder.

In my rabbit hole of crafting slightly better padel match videos I'm now using ChatGPT to tell me what to do in Apple Motion to create the scoreboard graphics. I'm making myself a "tool" for O3 to tell what to do since Apple Motion is not controllable by AI

I unfortunately did not enjoy the movie. I’d rather watch Detroiters or 50% of I Think You Should Leave skits again.

At the Princess Twin to watch Friendship and the place is packed.

Did I buy Final Cur Pro just so it was easier to edit the footage of my Padel matches? Yes, yes I did

The Canadian government must do something about Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people. Boycott. Divest. Sanction. Now.

Gave up due to lack of fun gameplay. Started Doom: The Dark Ages Instantly fun.

Playing Hellblade 2 and my brain cannot comprehend how these graphics exist. I hope the game gets more fun though lol

Ben of Ben & Jerry’s *arrested* after confronting RFK Jr. & Congress: "They need to let food into Gaza. They need to let food to starving kids! Congress is paying to bomb poor kids in Gaza, and paying for it by kicking poor kids off Medicaid in the US!"

I've started posting videos of my friends and I to YouTube. No commentary, just some AI generated background music from suno.com and they're actually getting views. Like dozens of views. It's weird and hilarious.

I enjoyed Sinners. I enjoyed Thunderbolts. I think I enjoyed Thunderbolts more.

We'd be at GPT10 by now if Python environment stuff wasn't so annoying.
