I like to think my comments are a whetstone for your political content. Don't we all? 🤣 Army vet who deals in common sense and pointed opinions.

By this reasoning, the instant someone is accused of murder, we can do what we want to them because the murder victim didn't have due process. Or if someone is accused of theft, because the victim didn't get due process. This is beyond just wrong. It's evil.

Not sure why everyone isn’t as pissed as me about the Venezuelan soccer player we sent to the torture camp so here’s a 10 minute rant for those who are. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/b...

I am so fucking mad and sick over this. What an enraging story by Philip Holsinger in San Salvador time.com/7269604/el-s...

This is open grift and corruption from the President of the United States. And if you can’t admit that it’s a problem, you’re in the grip of a cult. Every time he does this, he degrades our entire country. It’s also sad. Many Americans who trust him will lose their savings.

Thanks to Steve Jobs and Gorilla Glass, factories in America are now ramping up to make affordable windows, made from panes thinner than a credit card, that can: * save Americans $25 billion / year * withstand a 2x4 shot out of a cannon (gift link) www.wsj.com/business/cor...

Fire for effect.

I'd like to bring this video to your attention. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyco... It's doing pretty significant numbers for what it is, so while I understand sharing it won't make a difference for those knee-deep in the cult of personality, I'd say it has a better-than-average chance of resonating.

NEW: The State of Washington just filed a motion for contempt or, in the alternative, for the administration to show cause why they terminated a grant for Seattle Children's Hospital for gender-affirming care despite a court-ordered TRO. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Tanking a 10+ year gaining economy in only 6 weeks has to be a record for any President

This is genuinely a fantastic plan. Wait until he says something particularly awful and just walk out. He’s self-destruct

A sr USAID official was placed on leave Sunday after he wrote a memo blowing the whistle on the Trump administration’s failure to provide lifesaving humanitarian assistance, contradicting claims by SoS Marco Rubio that it was exempt from the foreign aid freeze. talkingpointsmemo.com/morning-memo...

I honestly feel dirty that I laughed at this, repeatedly.

A text from a White House advisor to me:

Rubio signed up for the post firing book deal I think. Just gotta stay in there long enough to get enough material, and it looks like he may have plenty soon. Then he'll be the weasel on CNN hits like Bolton has been since he got canned.

Rubio knows that if he doesn’t toe the line on Zelensky, he’s out. What he doesn’t seem to realize - though everyone else does - is that he’s eventually out anyway. This doesn’t end well for him, any more than it did for Tillerson, Mattis, Esper, or Pompeo.

ā—ļøšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¦Zelenskyy has arrived in šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§London, where he will meet with šŸ‡ŖšŸ‡ŗEuropean and NATO leaders on Sunday, in what some are calling the most important summit in Europe since World War II.

I can't stop laughing at this man I'm sorry. This is the kind of shit the biggest loser in the world would say to their girlfriend about buying her flowers on Valentine's Day once, and he's doing so in an argument that started because he called her a bitch

Th most telling thing about Trump and Zelenskyy today is that Trump couldn’t do it alone. He’s too much of a coward. He needed backup.

I regret to inform everyone that today was not the bottom. We aren’t even close to the bottom, yet.

'Today’s meeting and America’s shameful vote in the United Nations on Monday confirmed that the United States is now aligned with Russia and against Ukraine, Europe, and most of the planet. I felt physically sick watching the president of the United States...' www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

Wall Street Journal Editorial Board comes out swinging against JD Vance. Indeed, key moment in downward spiral was Vance lashing out in response to Zelenskyy's point on diplomacy with Putin WSJ: "It is bewildering to see Mr. Trump’s allies defending this debacle as some show of American strength."

Yeah man, I was impressed and he gave me that pride and admiration tickle in the chest. Zelensky is going to go down as a heroic historic Ukrainian. Comedian actor to strong leader of the scrappiest country in memory.

Boykin: Vance didn’t even know enough about the topic to be having the discussion. When Zelenskyy asked him if he’s ever been to Ukraine, he said no, he’s seen it on TV. Are you kidding me? Seeing it on TV is your excuse for being able to lecture him while he’s in the middle of a war.

Marco Rubio today.

fuck me for believing all the bullshit about American exceptionalism I guess I won’t stop believing tho I still believe that this is a place for the tired, the poor, the huddled masses yearning to be free I still believe in the better angels of our nature I still believe in the freedom from fear

The board of Virginia Military Institute voted on Friday against extending the contract of Major General Cedric Wins, the college’s first Black superintendent.

Obama and Biden may think they are honoring the office of the presidency by keeping quiet at a moment like this — if so that’s just preening vanity — they owe it to the office and to the Republic that until last month it served to speak up loudly and clearly and without relent.

While I know cutting people off is all the rage (and I took/take part in it too) I'm trying to reach out on FB. I had deleted it, but right now it feels necessary to publicly and honestly debate with friends and acquaintances, some didn't vote for this lawlessness and King stuff. Got to get them.
