We are finally out of the woods on this sweet pups health scare. Multiple weeks carrying her up and down the stairs (she absolutely hates being picked up). If you are a pet owner in the DC area, I cannot recommend enough District Vet and the oncology/surgical teams at Blue Pearl.

This is extremely rough on cement, both incumbent industry ($1b) and the startups ($276m). It will effectively kill two massive CCUS projects that would've been located adjacent to existing cement operations. Combined, they would sequester 3 million tons of CO2 annually once completed.

Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil.
