Vampire free my entire life, btw

12 hour day shifts outside at da cement plant. Don't worry, it's a dry heat and my DC self is doing just fine

Thanks, I hate it.

Did I show you the ukrainian SES rescue dogs that help search for people under the rubble

We are finally out of the woods on this sweet pups health scare. Multiple weeks carrying her up and down the stairs (she absolutely hates being picked up). If you are a pet owner in the DC area, I cannot recommend enough District Vet and the oncology/surgical teams at Blue Pearl.

Dear Mystery Neighborhood Frozen Waffle Sidewalk Distributor, My dogs are huge fans of your work. On the other hand, I *begins loading revolver* would like to have a conversation.

Given the choice between calling out Republicans for an extremely bad thing they are actually doing vs attacking Democrats for a made up thing that is the opposite of reality, I see we are again choosing door number two

not the main issue here but i'd really appreciate it if democratic politicians spoke out in support of big-city life and culture with the same energy and reverence that all politicians have for small towns los angeles is "real america" and so are all the other big cities the president hates

1) those are concrete, not cement 2) those are precast blocks, not bricks, and are usually used for retaining walls 3) the only people capable of throwing those further than just a few feet are Olympic shotputters (~35 pounds each) 4) Soros pallatizes his deliveries like a thoughtful gentleman

Decarbing your cement and very slowly (please be patient, I'm new at this) moving your pallets

did i just have a stroke

I wish all my loading screens were just Henry patiently trotting along.

NEPA (derogatory) CEQA (also derogatory)

This is extremely rough on cement, both incumbent industry ($1b) and the startups ($276m). It will effectively kill two massive CCUS projects that would've been located adjacent to existing cement operations. Combined, they would sequester 3 million tons of CO2 annually once completed.

The way people talk about my home, left or right, is almost always cloaked in the stupidest fucking ignorance. DC is not McLean nor is it Potomac. We are an incredibly diverse city and I'm so tired of hearing your shitty caricatures of a place you've probably visited once on a school trip.

Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil.
