Flowers after the rain.

Official #BrokenPunk #NoRunClub member, doctor's orders. Slipped disc in my lower back. Struggling with sudden change in mobility & learning how to accept it mentally/emotionally. Frustrated, sad, angry, but also grateful that this *isn't* normal for me. My first ever black eyed susan bloom.

Truly magical time this weekend at O'Leno State Park with my family, old friends & new. Had a beautiful swim in the river with an old friend which truly was one of the most lovely experiences ever. Hiked with my babies & watched them grow before my very eyes.

Good day for a cold treat

Friday day off -long run -egg dying & relaxing while kids swam -movie in the park Saturday -medium run -egg hunting with kids -native plant sale -seeded new garden bed -rested -dug up some f*ing cat's claw vine & seeded the cover crop in that area -saw a baby snake!! Good couple of days!

Well folks, my Pop has sold out the Troubadour! I don't really even know how to articulate how a small town Georgia boy grows up to play the Troubadour at 70 years old his first time stepping foot in California. #Don'tGiveUpOnYourDreams #NeverTooOld #SingLoud

Why choose vegetables or flowers when you can have both? 🌱 Eggplant flower

I ran! Listened to Peaness. Found yard art. Snagged marigold seeds at the community stand. #runningpunks

In garden adventures today, I've created an Italian Seasoning garden outside the back door for my husband to use when cooking - rosemary, sage, thyme, oregano, basil & savory. Jasper & I have sown rings of sunflower seeds to create little hideaways when they get tall. 🤞🌱🌻

Starting to open 🌱

I have an oversize pot I keep specifically for my butterfly pea vine. I chopped the dead winter vine & planted all the seeds for this year. Later, I gave my little one a pack of mixed flower seeds to just spread randomly in the back yard. By yard, I did not mean this planter....alas here they are!

Let's put our heads together
