Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Loretta Swit this morning. Ms Swit and a few of her colleagues from the M*A*S*H cast starred in one of our earliest PSAs. Thank you for helping us get the word out, Major. youtu.be/CRGVsfjyFhQ

Finally some good news…

Think a good plank for the Democratic Party would be a 95% income tax rate on corporate compensation packages in excess of 20x their lowest paid employees.

Trump has a 6-year-old’s understanding of how American government works. Unfortunately, so do about half of the other adults in this country.

“.. these cuts have already resulted in about 300,000 deaths, most of them of children, and will most likely lead to significantly more by the end of the year. That is what Musk’s foray into politics accomplished.” @nytimes.com www.nytimes.com/2025/05/30/o...

Now that he’s stepped away from his government work, just hope he takes time for a nice, long soak in a hot tub after his next huge dose of ketamine.

Wow…

Without our ideals, regardless of whether we ever fully achieve them, this country is just dirt.

I was curious just how much time in prison people pardoned by Trump would otherwise have had to have served. So I added it up: more than 700 years, including 600 among Jan. 6 rioters. Gift link: wapo.st/3Hfd174

Poor guy got his feelings hurt…

Miller should watch a few Schoolhouse Rock videos to bring him up to speed on how the U.S. government works.

In another time and place, MAGA people would have made very good communists, picking and choosing from above what vocation and courses of study people should pursue. Bonus, they even know what scientific results they prefer without worrying about the scientific method. Saves so much time.

Sigh…

I think about this a lot. I remember my father telling stories about what he went through in Europe during WWII. Enrages me that so many today willingly give up what they sacrificed so much to preserve.

This really points out a core part of human nature. When people see perceived peers doing well, their first instinct is to tear them down instead of demanding the same benefits for themselves. Remember when banker’s hours were a thing? Or a career in the Post Office was something to be jealous of?

These are the people Trump rations his time to.

Golden Age of something…

Housing prices are going to crash again. Owners are locked in and will have to cut their price or foreclose if they have to move. Record high prices and high interest rates are unsustainable.

The Constitution is for suckers and losers.
