“Netanyahu’s purpose was to drag Trump in,” Daniel Levy, a former Israeli peace negotiator, says of the U.S. attack on Iran. Over the weekend, the U.S. directly joined the war between Israel and Iran when it bombed three nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan

Funny how when Rogue One was first announced, I wondered if something as diaphanously light as Star Wars could support a more grounded exploration of war and fascism, and now the franchise has found its true voice (and relevancy) again in exactly that.

I served 10 years in the USAF. Morale, at this moment, is incredibly low. The elephant in the room is we hardly have enough people volunteering to serve relative to the MASSIVE need. Knee jerk decisions like LA and now Iran don’t help. Few want to be forced to do something questionable.

Let's not let up on the MuskRat just because he has dropped from the headlines ..

Take off those masks, and let us compare the faces to J6 felons who were pardoned. My bet would be on several matches.

🤷🏾‍♂️

If you’re near Boston there’s a place called “Natural Fruttiberri” in Watertown that specializes in soft serve with Persian flavors like saffron rose and faloodeh. I haven’t been since they changed ownership but my hopes remain high. I can think of worse weekends to pay them a visit.

Some thoughts on the current situation with Iran. Screenshot from the bad place.

Aged like milk.

You were literally the one who ended the agreement with them regarding nuclear weapons that they were abiding by.

Netanyahu has spent the better part of two decades trying to strong arm the United States into an unprovoked war against Iran and finally found a president stupid enough to do it for him. Unbelievable.

He was humiliated last weekend. This weekend he bombed someone. My guess is there is a relationship between those two events.

I tried it once.

In case it wasn’t already obvious. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

Correct.

irony of course is that what these people are demanding are explicit racial preferences and quotas for themselves

Truth

It is wild that when we speak up about ICE terrorizing our neighborhoods, so many people urge us to call the police. They’re the same damn thing! In fact, you can’t even spell POLICE without ICE!

Love this sign 👏🏻👏🏻

I don't normally repost my own stuff, but my last one just has to be said. I'm so tired of people completely looking past Cuomo's history just because of the (D) next to his name. This isn't hard: sex predators need to be shunned. Do not vote them back in office! Stop this insanity.

Just a reminder going forward... (cartoon from 2003)

Oh it’s true. 🫤

Man, I've worked on visas for Iranians who have suffered persecution and even imprisonment for their political speech or even just books they've written and I'm pretty sure they don't want their country bombed to shit. I hate our government and don't want America bombed, but maybe that's just me.

Sounds good.

Could there be a clearer metaphor for our country nowadays?

We bombed Iran without congressional approval and I still have chores and work and kids in sports and supper to make. Living through autocracy and another possible forever war while living day to day is wild.

Schiff: "It's not an operation that should've ever been authorized by the president in the absence of intelligence showing that Iran had made the decision to break out and build a bomb."

ENJOY’E. NEWS 🟨🟨💥☀️💥🟨🟨 Top of the Morning Already our young men 17-18 years of age already talking about going to prison to avoid the draft. Reason saying if they have to go to the Middle East they will not die for Israel. There’s a tweet going around that Florida is on Iran first target to be bomb

I just want to know why we always have money for bombs but we never have money for education or healthcare

mood:

Host: Are you saying the US did not see intelligence that the Supreme Leader had ordered weaponization? Rubio: That’s irrelevant Host: No, that's a key point Rubio: No it’s not… Forget about intelligence

Some people get into journalism because they’re skeptical of power, and others do so because they’re impressed by it. Moments like this are clarifying with respect to who’s who.

I remember when our Military wasn't run by a disgraced Fox host and a convicted felon who is beholden to Russia. It was 6 months ago.

“We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say, ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.’ Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes.” - Mister Rogers 💛 The human world, it’s a mess ❤️‍🩹💚🌎
