Concerning the firing of the Librarian of Congress - The Library of Congress is assigned to the Legislative, not the Executive Branch.The Librarian of Congress has no reporting relationship to the President. Trump has no Constitutional or Legal authority to fire the Librarian of Congress.

Schumer is Caving - just heard Schumer say that he has enough Democratic Senators line up to pass cloture and allow the Republican Continuing Resolution to be passed by Republicans. This will end any power Democrats have towards constraining the Trump disaster.
