My kids love going to the library. There's an entire section and programming just for them. People let them be kids there. I love the library for the above reasons. The experience of being IN THE COMMUNITY. And also, they have a huge collection of dvds! Don't ever rent to stream, check the library!

What infuriates me so much about this new operation is that it is literally punishing people for following the rules and showing up to their court hearings. It is so toxic to the basic concept of following the rules. It is an operation designed by people who hate the concept of the rule of law.

These people were following the law and went to check in with immigration like they are supposed to. This woman's immigration case was dismissed, which made her immediately undocumented. So ICE took her into custody. The air conditioning was off in the back of the truck. "I can't breathe."
