Also on this note, why are there so few benches on the DC side of this trail? There's like one bench between Gtown and the border. Once you're in Mont Co it's like a bench every 20 yards.

I don't know why NPR is airing a 20 minute long interview with a government flak over the invasion of LA with the US military. That should be reserved for actual govt leaders. At least Inskeep is actually trying in this one, unlike in his interview with Portnoy where he rolled over and played dead.
