My old man left us in 2023. I always said he could find a piano anywhere in the world - from a barrack in Germany to The Chop House in Chicago to the streets of Kenosha. Wherever he is now, he’s tickling the ivories. The fact his grandson took home an honor in music, keeps that spirit alive.
