I caught the #MUFC game earlier. It was a slog of a watch. It was tellable that it was 36 degrees with high humidity and the players looked like they had led boots on. Nobody could run or get much power behind passes or shots. Koné had a small but vibrant cameo.

The question needs to be asked; what exactly is it that couldn’t be imparted to the players in the last six months? I think this says a lot about them. Too many luddites masquerading as professionals. The time’s overdue for a couple of erudite players & I trust Amorim et al. to identify them…

So, Amorim knew after 3 games that United wasn’t cut out for his style. In fairness, he didn’t want to join midseason. In fairness, he told us the storm was coming. Nobody, including Amorim, could’ve envisaged just how bad it was going to be. He needs at least one more full season. “Your job now…”

Disappointing for an officially authorised documentary. Big emphasis on ‘Becoming’ because it only covers pre-Zep & the first two albums. Read more informative magazine specials on the band. Squeaky clean account & unfortunately rating it 5 out of 10.

In an ideal world I’d keep both Mainoo & Garnacho. The truth of the matter is that Garnacho doesn’t fit the profile that Amorim needs. What does he offer defensively? I suspect the same is true of Kobbie. Too limited as a 10 and not solid enough defensively to play as a CM. Hard decisions.

I don’t know why (and I surely can’t be alone in this??) but if a telly programme or film is massively hyped up I won’t watch it. 🤷🏻‍♂️ It’s taken me 20yrs to catch this film for that exact reason. As hard-hitting as they come though and I’d rate it 8 out of 10.
