Great toss to win then

Devastating

The BBC has now confirmed the appointment of Kate Phillips as chief content officer, replacing Charlotte Moore. Full details on Broadcastnow shortly

Expect some white smoke from W1A imminently

This will do for today

23.2 over bowled in the first session of the World Test Championship. Steady on lads, don't overdo it

Key appointment at Disney+ www.broadcastnow.co.uk/broadcast-in...

Big blow this C4. But when the streamers come a knockin'.......

Imagine the pitch meeting. 'A completely new kind of detective show..' 'Go on.' 'Turns the genre on its head.' 'I'm intrigued.' 'Are you truly ready for this..?'

Yeah, yeah, yeah, PSG, you might have won the trophy but we all know that plucky Arsenal were the real CL winners….

I can’t remember anything else about this game (though it was a bit wet), but it really was a cracking goal

As a man in his early 50s called Paul, I now live in fear of reprisals over the Liverpool Parade crash. Because that’s how these things work right?

Great year for London football. Tottenham - UEL winners; Palace - FA Cup; Charlton - promotion; Wimbledon - promotion; Barnet - promotion; Chelsea - likely UCL winners; Arsenal - something something Real Madrid… 👀

Poor error from the referee at the Villa game yesterday - that we can all agree on. But ultimately it was Matty Cash’s woeful back pass in the first half that really did for them

The dullest PL season in memory is almost over. Praise be

I’m surprised Kerry Dixon & Dennis Wise haven’t been called into this England squad tbh

Sponsors for next month's ceremony include Abbas Media Law and Garden Studios

Huge shake-up at ITV. Daytime to cut half of its employees. Brutal

BBC confirms Gary Lineker will exit the PSB on Sunday after the last episode of MOTD. It never seemed healthy to me that he would hang around for another year - he is not going to stay off social media in that time so another storm was inevitable. It has come sooner & it's quite right he should go

Home season ends as it started with a 2-1 defeat. Be in no doubt, West Ham are genuine contenders for relegation next season

I’m afraid this West Ham team couldn’t rip open a crisp packet never mind another Premier League defence. Must be time to throw on another defender or defensive midfielder

London Stadium is just so empty. Nobody has any faith West Ham can do anything. You can’t even get angry to boo. Potter’s style is so boring. No threat. Just passing training. Harmless. I just can’t see how he’s going to last.

Oh what a shame 🙊

Channel 4 chief Mahon to run live entertainment group Superstruct

Breaking: C4 CEO Alex Mahon to step down

Utter gibberish as usual. "Family GPs" don't sign off SEND plans or disability benefits.

Yep, another Jack Thorne drama www.broadcastnow.co.uk/channel-4/fi...

West Ham 2024/25 are a very poor team & 17th place is the best they deserve. 14 games in, Potter is filling very few with much confidence that he is up to the job as well

Half time score from the London Stadium, dullest team in the league 0, worst team in the league 0. And the visitors should be leading

English clubs will win all 3 European competitions this season

Really looking forward to watching Bournemouth today. West Ham, not so much

This is a really good piece from Scott

This West Ham United season is the most miserable I can remember without being relegated. Creatively bereft. Defensively weak. Potter has brought nothing. No player has had a good season. There’s been so few good days. Losing to a team as bad as Wolves is beyond disappointing.

The longer the break between matches, the more clueless West Ham look in their next match. Just so boring

Pete Hegseth today

According to Pact, comedy could die out on our TV screens in the coming years. But we’ll always have the Scottish national football team

Loool

Iain Wimbush and Emily unveil new label with focus on formats

The BBC cancelled Holby City to bring in new continuing drama productions in the "nations and regions" (outside the M25) and has since then axed both of its nations and regions continuing dramas.

So despite the EFL’s best efforts, a member of the greedy six didn’t win the Corruptbao Cup this season. They won’t like that. What will they give them next season? Automatic qualification to the QFs? A 2-goal head start in every game? Maybe both of these?

Touching that Paqueta arguably signed off his West Ham career with a yellow card

If Lewis-Skelly played for Brentford and not a greedy six club, he'd be nowhere near an England squad at the moment
