There’s something about the way Don Callis moves when he gets up from comms that I really enjoy. This sort of slightly diagonal skipping step, like he’s trying to be sneaky but at the same time is really pleased with himself. Just delightful.

Played Phantom Ink today. Really fun game where teams compete to guess the secret object, with a ghost on each team answering a secretly asked question. The genius is in being able to stop the ghost writing after a letter so that their team can infer the answer without the other team catching on.

One of these days I’m going to finally absorb the rules of the Zoo Tycoon board game and feel up to actually playing it, but today was not that day. Started a how to play video, realised it was 93 minutes long, and decided maybe I’ll just read the rules after all. Another day.

Really enjoyed Muriel's Wedding The Musical at Leicester Curve. I already knew I liked the Kate Miller-Heidke (and occasional ABBA) songs but it was a really beautifully designed production with lots of heart and terrific performances.
