Reminder 👇

In response to community concern, we are removing three blocks of the NW 13th Avenue plaza. Details: www.portland.gov/transportati... Due to 3 businesses' lack of compliance with design guidance & numerous site challenges, we've determined that this space has not succeeded as Public Street Plaza.

We heard a rumor that PBOT will accept submissions if you get them in today (we started that rumor).

Beginning on Monday, June 2, PBOT will be repairing and repaving N Kilpatrick Street from N Denver to Delaware avenues. The work is expected to be complete on June 9.

Final reminder to submit Bike to Books designs this weekend!!

Look, we made a mistake. And we were so happy to right the wrong. We incorrectly issued an Outdoor Dining Permit to Living Room Wines on N Lombard Street. This was an honest mistake, and when it was brought to our attention, we immediately began looking for a way to correct the error.

Heads up! The lower level of the Steel Bridge will be impacted by ships arriving for Fleet Week early next week. It will be closed from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., or until the last ship arrives for the day, each day on Tuesday, June 3 and Wednesday, June 4.

🗣 Final call for Bike to Books! Bike to Books, the contest where PBOT and @multcolib.bsky.social encourage kids (and adults, too!) to ride bikes and read books, closes on June 1.

Every year, we look to our community to provide feedback on our transit services with our Attitudes & Awareness Survey. Complete the survey here: survey.alchemer.com/s3/8186303/2...

Ride with community, chat with someone new, and start your day outside with the next City Bike Bus on June 11! Join the City Bike Bus every second Wednesday of the month, now through October. Find route information and more details at Portland.gov/bikebus

📢Free fill dirt! Calling all summer project DIYers (and professionals, too), PBOT has mounds of free fill dirt waiting for you at the Sunderland Yard Recycling Center (9325 NE Sunderland Ave.). That's the same place where 2,049 vehicles showed up for 3,000 cubic yards of compost a month ago.

This long weekend is a great time to create some bike lane art! We're accepting applications for the Bike to Books Design Contest through June 1. Four winning designs will be installed on a Portland street. Submit your design today! www.portland.gov/transportati...
