I enjoy baking bread, swimming and playing pickleball. I'm a retired person-centred counsellor and supervisor. I have done a lot of work, over the years, with children who were in the care system and adults who were dealing with the aftermath.

@rorycj.bsky.social Thanks for your Tweet, Rory. I did the same, a while back and this is a better platform.

I don’t really care about getting any followers from this, but I WOULD really appreciate a share because, despite it maybe seeming insignificant, it has been a major boost to the health and peace of my family, and I want that for others that have struggled with the same issue. #autism

I don’t usually post this kind of thing but a buddy I grew up with was just diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer on top of having to take care of his son who struggles with autism, cerebral palsy, and PANDAS. Please share if you can’t help financially. www.gofundme.com/f/help-the-c...

/bus had a screen to indicate the next couple of stops and the destination. A very skilled driver, who waited for people to sit down, before moving off and drove very smoothly, throughout. I will, definitely, be using buses, from now on.

I caught a bus, yesterday, from Brockhurst Fort, to Gosport ferry. It's been years, since I used a bus. Boy, was I impressed! Spotlessly clean and comfortable, the electric /

Anyone who has yet to watch last night's episode of 'Casualty' is in for a treat!

How lovely! Morrison's, in Gosport, was very busy, today, with long queues at the tills. (Not the lovely part.) An employee, with a big smile, went around reassuring us that we'd be through the till soon and offered a wrapped chocolate, to each customer. A very kind gesture. Thank you, Morrison's!

Wow! What a final, tonight, for Strictly Come Dancing. I feel thrilled and heart-warmed, (if the latter is even a word). Hurray!

Wonderful, to see Jean Paton, aged 90, receive the Unsung Hero award, on BBC South Today, this evening, for four decades of volunteering with a yacht training school. A well-deserved accolade.

Come on, BBC, taking two Christmas Celebrity Masterchef episodes off the air is not enough. Take Gregg Wallace off the air, entirely, until this matter is resolved. And, only then, if there is no case for him to answer.

@maria277.bsky.social Thank you. A happy Thanksgiving to you, too, Maria.

The BBC could - and I suggest, should - pause transmission of the cookery competition that has Gregg Wallace as one of the presenters. The competition can still go ahead and be filmed, to be shown if the complaints prove to be groundless.

I am not sure if anyone cares what a 27 year old with autism and special needs has to say, but I want to help inspire others. I lost both my parents when I was 19. I was attacked and bullied. But it hasn’t broken me. Can you share this post if you care what I have to say?

A big 'well done' to the UK passport office staff, in Newport, Gwent. They received my passport application, from France, on 30th October and I received the new one yesterday, ie 18th November, also in France
