Columbia River from Whishram Heights. Until The Dalles dam was built in 1957 The Celilo Falls were here - now covered by higher river levels. A native fishery for 10,000 years, perhaps one the oldest continual settlements in North America. Presently, the salon run is 20% its historical level .
